The Cinematic Fractionation: The 1990/s

The second to last post on my personal favorite movies by decade.

1990's

What About Bob? (1991)

Bill Murray as Bob Wiley, a multi-phobic personality who latches onto his new psychiatrist & his family on their vacation in New Hampshire.

A Few Good Men (1992)

Tom Cruise as a JAG lawyer, trying the case of the death of a Marine private, 'wanting to get to the truth, which Jack Nicholson thinks he can't handle...

Groundhog Day (1993)

Another Bill Murray classic: a pompous weatherman relives the same day over & over again, much like the average American...

Speed (1994)

A cop, a girl & a bus that'll explode if it goes under a certain mph… completely implausible yet completely enjoyable.

Fist of Legend (1994)

Jet Li in the remake of the Bruce Lee 70's movie: a kung fu student avenges the death of his sensei, a martial arts classic!

Mission Impossible I (1996)

Tom Cruise as the lone survivor of a botched Impossible Mission Force assignment who finds out he's not the lone survivor of the team.

The Truman Show (1998)

Jim Carry as a salesman in a small town who finds his reality may not actually be reality…

The Matrix (1999)

Keanu Reeves as a computer hacker in a big city who finds his reality may not actually be reality... hey wait a minute!

Honorable Mention:

The Phantom (1996)

Billy Zane as the classic comic book superhero/crime fighter in the fictional African country of Bangalla. This movie is action-packed & good clean fun!
