You've Already Got It: Takeaway #1

This is a takeaway from Andrew Wommack's book
"You've Already Got It! (So Quit Trying To Get It)"

Ephesians was written from the perspective of what has already taken place, “blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us w/ all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”.

Everything that God has done for you has already been deposited into your born-again spirit. Although it's already there, you must by faith draw it out of the spirit realm & into the physical realm.

If God has already blessed you, which Ephesians 1:3 clearly reveals, then why do you keep asking Him to bless you?

Many people pray, “God, please heal my body” but don't see the manifestation. Doesn't 1 Peter 2:24 say that by His stripes you were (past tense) healed? It's already done! God has placed the same power that raised Christ from the dead inside you (Ephesians 1:19-21)!

Other stupid prayers are:

“God, we ask you to come & be w/ us in our church service today; meets w/ us!” Scripture plainly states that God will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) & where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

Yet people still pray for God to “be w/ them” or “go w/ them...”

Another rather ignorant prayer is “God, we pray for your anointing” or asking God a few minutes before a service to anoint the speaker or the worship team. 1 John 2:27 tells us that we, as Believers, have the same anointing as Jesus Himself.

Instead of asking for something you already have inside of you, thank God for His permanent, residing, abiding presence & anointing that is ever w/ you.

Either faith dominates or the senses do.

Renew your mind to the fact that you already have it so quit trying to get it.
